mythzoneminder software package provides view status and display footage recorded with zoneminder, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mythzoneminder
mythzoneminder is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mythzoneminder package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mythzoneminder *
You will get with mythzoneminder package name, version, architecture and description in a table
